Tribute Giving

Tribute Giving: Your gift in memory or in honor of a loved one, friend, or special occasion is not only a thoughtful tribute, but will help care for needy men, women and children. When you give a memorial or a gift to honor a loved one, recognition will be mailed promptly to the bereaved family or the person being honored telling them of your gift.

Will You Help Us “Un-Bug” the Friendship House?

Bed bugs are a common problem in rescue missions, shelters, hotels, nursing homes and other communal living areas. Bed bugs are hitchhikers! They travel on clothing, luggage and other belongings.

Friendship House is already fighting the good fight in our battle against bed bugs by:

• Washing bedding and laundry regularly
• Using a high-powered steamer to kill bugs
• Using antimicrobial mattress covers
• Purchasing a “hot box” that kills bedbugs in belongings using extremely hot temperatures

Now we are inviting YOU to help us conquer this problem . . . here’s the plan!

Currently we have wooden bunk beds at the Friendship House. Unfortunately, those beds provide lots of hiding places for bed bugs. By replacing the wooden beds with sturdy metal bunk beds, along with 30 anti-microbial pillow covers, we can knock bed bugs out for good.

Friendship House has a total of 15 bunkbeds. it the help of supporters like you, we’ve already purchased eight of the beds e need. Can you help us complete this task with a donation toward seven more beds and 30 pillow covers?

• Bunkbed Cost: $525 each
• Pillow Cover Cost: $15 each
